Women's Rights

"Equal Pay for Equal Work"

In 1963, women were paid 59 cents for every dollar that men were paid for the same work. In 50 years, we’ve only managed to close the wage gap by 18 cents to 77 cents nationwide. All Montanans deserve equal pay for an hour of work. As your representative, I will advocate for wage equality in support of Governor Bullock’s “Equal Pay for Equal Work” task force initiative.

Supporting women's right to privacy and health care

I am a strong advocate for women’s health, and I believe that access to family planning services is crucial to the health of women and their families. As your representative, I will work to protect a woman’s right to privacy and health care. I do not believe that women's health care decisions should be legislated.
